Autumn season nominations are now open. Competition is run on a Wednesday night from 7:00pm at show hall no.3 at the Mount Gambier Show Grounds. Practice is held on a Monday night from 7:00pm till 9:00pm and again on a Saturday from 1:00pm till 3:00pm. This season teams will comprise of 3 players across 4/5 grades depending numbers. All players of any ability are welcome.

Steven Maynard, Maddie Mcgregor, Adam Gilbert, Justin Hutchesson, Ethan Harding, Tim Tang, Sarah Pilven, Travis Sweet, Mark Drentlaw, Sirinat Sweet, Andrew Schubert, Evan Marga Steele, Rhys Edwards Robin Pellen and Nick Sweet.
Winners were Thor’s Hammers 9 matches to 5 against Re-Wards. The team of Robin Pellen, Nathan Schubert, Cameron Beal and Travis Sweet took control of the game early and Re-Wards, Ben Newman, Gary Fox, Ward Freeman and David Fox just weren’t able to bridge the gap.
MIA won a keenly fought contest against The Money Train, 8 games to 6. Regular members Rylan Ward and David Harris-Jones were joined by fill-in’s Rhys Edwards and Matthew Scott. With most games going 4 sets the team of Henry Dyall, Tim Tang, Tony Bowditch and Brad Errock could count themselves a little unlucky that they couldn’t snare a few extra set to take the win.
This contest was the game of the night with the decision being decided by sets. Allsorts and Animals battled through the night for supremacy and with the games equal at 7 all the count of the sets started. The Animals, Doug Megaw, Jono Lange, Dylan McCarthy and Tasja Barelds were announced winners 28 games to 26 with the Allsorts lamenting missed opportunities. Lorraine Halleday and Grant Sims were joined by fill-in’s Andrew Schubert and Liam Moulden but they just fell agonisingly short.

Competition will start on Wednesday the 7th of February. It will be run as a 6 player per team competition comprising of: 2 A Graders, 2 B Graders and 2 C Graders over a period of 10 weeks.
Practice will be held normally on a Monday night over the holiday period, excepting the 29th of January when the hall will be closed.

Now you as club member have a place to come and share everything related to our favourite sport – Table Tennis. One of the aims of this website is to actively promote table tennis in the South East of South Australia and further afield.
Starting this Winter Season 2013 we have had a fantastic season with the new game format as developed by Board member Ben Newman. Well done to all our Board members and President Andrew Schubert for their continuing efforts to make our Club viable and entertaining!
